fixing high cpu in linux virtualbox guest os
edit the boot loader kernel arguments…. add a “divider=10” without quotes to the kernel arguments
example
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-164.6.1.el5 ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 rhgb quiet divider=10
